Home Water Purifier Systems, This is How to Choose One

If you have been looking for a water purifier reverse osmosis systems are not necessarily the best type of filters to invest in. Although these systems do filter water, they are not quite as effective as many consumers have been led to believe.

In reality, a reverse osmosis water purifier removes too much from water. In a nutshell, reverse osmosis purifies water based on molecular size. Therefore, since synthetic chemicals are molecularly smaller than water, it is virtually impossible to remove them by the process of reverse osmosis.

When water is exposed under pressure to a semi-permeable membrane, as it is in reverse osmosis water purification systems, many contaminants and minerals are rejected due to their molecule size. Nowhere on Earth do we have naturally de-mineralized water. That fact alone should make it obvious that de-mineralizing our water through reverse osmosis isn’t natural or healthy.

Another overlooked fact about reverse osmosis water purification systems is that many synthetic chemicals such as herbicides and pesticides are molecularly smaller than water itself. This means these chemicals do pass through the membrane and into the filtered water. hul pureit ultima

Unless you purchase a carbon filter to be used in conjunction with your water purifier reverse osmosis system, the water you are drinking is essentially worthless. It still remains contaminated and unhealthy for consumption.

The water that surrounds us contains over 2,000 cancer-causing contaminants and with the increase of herbicide and pesticide use, our water is not going to get any safer. As mentioned earlier, a reverse osmosis water purifier is extremely ineffective in removing these organic chemicals. The truly sad reality, however, is that the local filtration companies we depend on to purify our water use basic equipment and have no true standard regulation on how clean water must be.

This includes bottled water as well, meaning that bottled water just needs to be as good as tap water–not better.

If there are no regulations and what you want is pure, great tasting water, then it’s up to you to take control of the situation. Although it may be a hassle shopping around for a filtration system, you are able to monitor the purity of the water you drink. If you want a filter, but want to avoid a water purifier reverse osmosis system, there are other alternatives.

There are great water filters available that are much more affordable and effective than reverse osmosis water purification systems. All it takes is some research and some time in shopping around for a reliable product.

Although you can purchase filters separately (i.e. shower filter or faucet filter), the best investment you can make is in a multi-stage home water filtration system. A good home water filtration system will use a combination of carbon filtration, ion exchange and sub-micron filtration to produce truly healthy water unlike a reverse osmosis water purifier.

What this multi-stage process accomplishes is the removal of chlorine, lead, MTBE, volatile organic compounds and other chlorine resistant parasites. More importantly, it removes all these contaminants without stripping the water of the natural trace minerals. This is something a water purifier reverse osmosis system just can’t offer you.

It is highly important for our bodies to receive healthy water with the minerals we need. Drinking water stripped of the natural calcium, magnesium and potassium we need is far from healthy. The best way to get great water is to avoid a water purifier reverse osmosis system and invest in a multi-stage home water filter.

In doing so, you can have truly healthy water from the convenience of every outlet in your home. Great water with convenience will bring about better health now, and in the years to come.
